David Gordon Green talks to USC's Daily Trojan: Green [recalls]... a letter he received from a teenager responding to what he felt was Green's dismal "[All the Real] Girls." The dissatisfied fan spewed for eight pages about his hatred and even contempt for the movie. Green's response: "If you care enough to hate, great!" Instead of taking it as a personal attack, Green is amazed by this passionate reaction to his film. This more-than-flustered fan spent a great deal of time and energy in responding to Green's movie.
